The clubhouse, built in 1912, was designed by master architects Albert Kahn and Ernest Wilby and qualifies for placement on the National Register of Historic Places. The design is in the spirit of the English Arts and Crafts movement as represented by the work of Sir Edwin Lutyens. Significant implemented components of the master plan include correction of life safety and operational inefficiencies, return of the central courtyard and fountain, and replacement of the south porch and swimming pool. Future renovations will include demolition of the cart barn replaced with a new underground structure, renovation and addition to the existing caddie house for added bag storage, and expansion of the Mixed Grill and Pro Shop.
