The oldest Protestant church in Michigan was designed in the English Gothic Revival style by Master Architect Gordon W. Loyd in 1860. Additionally, the site includes the Sibley House, designed in the Greek Revival style (1848); Ledyard Hall in the Tudor style (1924); and an office addition from 1957. The renovation and addition united all four structures, provided a new south entry, adapted the Sibley House to accommodate church offices, modernized Ledyard Hall classrooms, and achieved ADA and life safety conformance. Additional work included a small commercial warming kitchen to serve the assembly hall and the Christ NET program. Christ Church Detroit is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
